Antique Shops and Designers

Good morning lovely readers! I have recently discovered a new online magazine which you definitely should check out! Three designers are responsible for this magazine: Dot Dimiero, and her daughter Dana Aichler, owners of "Twenty Six Twenty" an antique shop and design studio for imported European antiques in Houston, Texas, and Alexander Molinello, a graphic communications designer and publisher.<br /><br />These are just some of the gorgeous pictures I've selected from the last issue. Antiques Dealer's Apartment in San Telmo

Good Saturday morning my sweet readers!<br />I'm sure this post will bring about as many interesting reactions as the one I did on Iris Apfel's apartment <a href="http://inspiracionline.blogspot.com/2011/05/celebrity-home-iris-apfel.html">here</a>. <br /><br />This particular apartment is located in San Telmo, the oldest neighbourhood of Buenos Aires, Argentina, characterized by its well-preserved colonial buildings. Antiques in Fontainbleau

<span>Thirty years ago, Chantal and her husband Bob had two successful antique shops in Paris. Beachfront Retreat in Los Angeles

Today, dear readers, I have a most singular house to show you. Designer and antiques dealer Richard Shapiro built this Malibu beachfront retreat and decorated it in a rustic yet elegant style with unique period pieces. Shapiro designed the chairs, the wood stools are 19th-century Ghanaian, and the white-painted cast-bronze floor lamp, by Patricia Roach.<br /><div style="overflow: hidden; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); background-color: transparent; text-align: left; text-decoration: none; border: medium none;"><br /><img alt="" src="http://www.architecturaldigest.com/images/homes/2011/04/renaissance_man/04_renaissance_man.jpg" /><br />The open kitchen occupying one end of the living space is anchored by an island made of basalt.
